Francesca is a junior psychology and vocal performance dual major. Originally from Albany New York, she now studies voice under Dr. Pamela Kurau at SUNY Geneseo. Francesca has a lifelong curiosity about why music plays such a powerful role in human communication, perception, emotion and language.

 

She has studied voice, piano and music theory for over ten years, and continues to be fascinated by the effect music has on the human mind, throughout all stages of development, and in all states of being.

 

Francesca plans to continue performing after college while pursuing a graduate degree in cognitive psychology. She hopes to combine her passions for music and psychology by studying the benefits of music in child development.
